(SKAGIT COUNTY)- Skagit County’s median home sales price rose in 2024 for the 14th consecutive year, according to a report prepared by Peter Ahn, co-owner of Northwest Washington’s The Muljat Group.
The median sales price, the point at which half of the homes sell for more and half sell for less, increased 4.5% last year in Skagit County to $579,900, according to a news release. Among its most populous communities, Anacortes leads with a median sales price of $720,000 for all 2024 sales, followed by Burlington, $602,950; La Conner, $596,250; Mount Vernon, $562,000; and Sedro-Woolley, $520,000.
Ahn said 1,387 Skagit County homes were sold in 2024, up 4.8% from a year earlier and reversing a three-year streak of declining sales. Skagit home sales peaked at 2,014 in 2020. Anacortes and Sedro-Woolley both saw unit sales rise in 2024 by at least 9%.
Ahn’s report is based on data from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.
