Get vaccinated this Saturday at Burlington-Edison High School

(BURLINGTON)- According to a press release, Skagit County Public Health invites you to get vaccinated this Saturday, May 15 at Burlington Edison High School Fieldhouse from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. No appointment needed, just come as you are when you can.

“You know, if you get vaccinated this weekend, you will be fully vaccinated by the Fourth of July,” said Public Health Director Jennifer Johnson. “I know as a fully vaccinated person, I’m looking forward to seeing family and friends without fear of spreading COVID-19, and I want that for all Skagitonians!”

Public Health will offer doses on a first come, first served basis from 10:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. The clinic will use Pfizer vaccine, so all Washingtonians 16 years of age and older are eligible. Of course, if you would like to make an appointment to ensure a dose is available for you, you can do so.

“We really want to see our kids getting vaccinated,” said Laurel Browning, Superintendent of the Burlington Edison School District. “To all the eligible students, I encourage you to come get vaccinated this weekend! It’s easier than ever and so important for your heath and the health of those around you.”

Public Health also offers a 'no appointment needed' walk up clinic every Thursday from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Fairgrounds. For more details, visit www.skagitcounty.net/covidvaccine. If you have questions or need additional information, call Public Health at 360-416-1500.
