Potential traffic impacts at Langley Blvd in Oak Harbor
(NAS WHIDBEY ISLAND)- Starting on 19 September, the Navy has contracted to have contaminated soil removed and replaced at the top of Langley Blvd following removal of an old fuel tank two years ago. While the removal project is not expected to have a direct impact on the roundabout project currently under construction at the Heller, Clover Valley, and Ault Field roads intersection, it may contribute to additional traffic delays. Work on the soil removal and replacement is not scheduled during peak transit hours to and from the installation, and is anticipated to last for three days. For more information on the project, please call 257-4025.
