(SKAGIT COUNTY)- The average listing price for a home in Anacortes surpassed $1 million in a quarter for the first time, according to a local real-estate report.
Ten-year broker Peter Ahn of NextHome Northwest Living said the average listing price for an Anacortes home in the third quarter ending Sept. 30 was $1,008,612, up 18.3% from last year’s third quarter. Ahn added that the average third-quarter sale in Anacortes was $976,414, a 16.8% increase, and the median sales price for the waterfront city was $795,000, 6.4% higher than 2025, according to a news release.
However, homes in all of Skagit County were a different story. The median price of Skagit County home sales ticked up 0.4% from a year ago at $600,000, said Ahn, who uses data from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service. The number of Skagit homes sold rose 0.8% to 382.
A couple of other Skagit communities experienced significant changes in median home sales prices. La Conner, aided by a home selling for more than $2 million, saw its median price soar 26.6% to $600,000 in the third quarter. But Mount Vernon’s median price fell 10.1% to $557,500.
