(EVERETT)– People traveling in the Everett area should plan for ramp closures and lane reductions on US 2/Stevens Pass Highway over the Snohomish River Bridge (milepost 0) Saturday and Sunday, July 11-12.
According to a new release from the Washington State Department of Transportation, on Saturday, July 11, from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. one lane of eastbound US 2 over the Snohomish River Bridge will close and from 5:30 to 10 a.m. the US 2 on-ramp to northbound Interstate 5 will close.
On Sunday, July 12, from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. one left lane of eastbound US 2 over the Snohomish River Bridge will close.
Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will perform bridge inspections and ramp signal repairs during these closures.
People should slow down near the work zone and expect delays.
