Daytime US 2 single-lane closure planned near Skykomish Wednesday, May 27

(SKYKOMISH)– US 2 will reduce to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, at Northeast Old Stevens Highway (milepost 50) near Skykomish. Flaggers will alternate traffic through the work zone.

Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will replace sensors in the roadway, according to a news release from WSDOT.

People traveling in the area should expect delays.
