Overnight I-5 lane closure planned Thursday, July 16 in Everett for maintenance

(EVERETT)– One lane of northbound Interstate 5 will close north of East Marine View Drive (milepost 6) over the Snohomish River from 9 p.m. Thursday, July 16 to 3:30 a.m. Friday, July 17.

Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will make guardrail repairs during the lane closure, according to a news release from the agency.

People should slow down near the work zone and expect delays.
