SR 538/College Way paving maintenance work begins Wednesday, July 15 in Mount Vernon

(MOUNT VERNON)– The two right lanes of westbound State Route 538/College Way will close near Windsor Drive (milepost 0) in Mount Vernon from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 15. Westbound traffic will shift to the center lane to detour around the road work.

Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will repave the roadway during the lane closures, according to a news release from the agency.

People traveling in the area should plan for delays, use caution in the lane shift and do their part to keep the road crew safe by slowing down and removing distractions.
