(OLYMPIA)– National experts will discuss connected vehicle technology that allows vehicles to communicate with one another, traffic signals and nearby infrastructure to improve safety and mobility during the Washington State Transportation Commission’s virtual July 21-22 meeting. Commissioners will also hold a public hearing on two toll rate proposals, according to a news release from the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The public is invited to attend the virtual meeting, which will take place on Zoom from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, and from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22. Registration for the Tuesday and Wednesday sessions is available on the commission’s website. The meeting will also be streamed on TVW.
